Overview

The Corporate team are looking for a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join the team in Guildford.

 

This position offers a fantastic platform for career development as the successful candidate will enjoy high visibility (both within and outside the firm), a key role in business development and full partner support.

Responsibilities

The candidate is needed to work with the team on a full range of corporate transactions, in particular M&A, spin-out and venture capital transactions, and ongoing company law/corporate advice. The role will involve drafting transaction documents and legal advice, transaction management and engaging with clients and third parties to help deliver our transactions. The successful applicant will be expected to get involved with the team’s business development activities.

 

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time.

Essential & Desirable Criteria

SRA Qualified – 6+ PQE

The ideal candidate will have a solid background as an Associate or Senior associate in private practice

Experience of supervising juniors and running transactions from start to finish  

Previous BD experience is preferred
