Penningtons Manches Cooper is a leading UK and international law firm which provides high quality legal advice tailored to both businesses and individuals. We address the specific objectives of each client through our flair and technical expertise and offer a personal service founded on a strong team ethic.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Costs Lawyer/Draftperson to join our friendly and dynamic costs team . The ideal candidate will have experience of all aspects of both inter parties costs and solicitor/client costs work. They will work well in a team environment, and will ideally demonstrate an ability to streamline processes and monitor outcomes and performance as well as advise and guide a fee earning team on costs issues. It would be preferable if the candidate is already a qualified Costs Lawyer but not essential with at least 4 years PQE.
The appointed Costs Lawyer/Draftperson will demonstrate a genuinely commercial approach, focussed on obtaining the best possible result for the team / business. They must also be confident to deal with external providers and ensure a suitable level of service is provided.
