Our Marketing and Business Development team (shortlisted as Best Business Support Team 2024, British Legal Awards) comprises of 28 dedicated professionals who play an integral role in the communication, engagement and execution of the firm’s Strategic Plan.

 

We are poised to enter the next phase of our marketing transformation, aiming to significantly enhance our brand awareness and market recognition both in the UK and globally. Our digital shop window is currently undergoing a significant revamp, so you will be joining us at an exciting time. From day one you will have a pivotal role in the development and delivery of our forward-looking digital makeover.

 

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and dynamic digital marketer to help drive our digital marketing strategy forward. Our new Digital Marketing Manager will be a campaign champion, passionate about maximising performance across digital channels to build brand awareness and deliver strong ROI through accessible campaigns that support our ambition to become the most human law firm

 

Reporting to the head of marketing you will also have day-to-day interaction with the Global Marketing and Business Development director. Though the role will provide plenty of autonomy, you will collaborate closely with other specialist areas of the team (Brand and External Communications, PR, Events, CRM, Client Services, Business Development and Bids) as well as our Careers, Responsible Business and Best Practice teams to drive consistent messaging and seamless execution of campaigns and content across all channels.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Be the driving force behind our marketing campaigns, shaping how we communicate with our clients and our target audiences
  • Develop data driven, campaign specific SEO, PPC, direct marketing and social media strategies to ensure our content successfully raises brand awareness and improves lead generation and conversion
  • Analyse the performance of our campaigns to review and refine campaign strategies and report insights to senior stakeholders (business development managers and partners).
  • Champion brand consistency across campaigns, working with our brand and web, and PR managers to ensure key messages are aligned and support the firm's strategic plan
  • Ensure our social media content calendar is aligned to our strategic plan and practice and sector business plans and that content adheres to our policies, guidelines and values. 
  • Engage and inspire our people to build their own professional social media presence and be proud to share content from across the firm.
  • Oversee the roll out of LinkedIn Sales Navigator across the firm as we seek to further develop our client relationships and ensure engagement and maximise adoption across the firm and monitor and report on performance
  • Identify digital trends, and ensure our strategy evolves based on data-driven insights.
  • Track and analyse performance of digital channels and campaigns, providing regular performance reports and recommendations for improvements.

 

Strategic campaigns

  • Develop and execute fully integrated marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and new leads.
  • Collaborate with our business development team to develop, implement, and manage highly specific and targeted strategic campaigns designed to enhance our market recognition and attract new clients in both our core and growth sectors.
  • Provide expert guidance on the design and execution of these campaigns across our digital platforms, including SEO, PPC, and both paid and organic social media.
  • Collaborate with our Brand and External Communications Manager to build engaging website campaign hubs.

 

Products and Innovation

  • Working closely with the business development team to develop products that solve our clients' problems and create a strategy to communicate these products across our platforms.
  • Help build the product messaging, the core value proposition and key differentiators.

 

Podcasts & Webinars

  • Provide strategic advice on how we can improve the creation, delivery and promotion of our podcasts and webinars.

 

Email marketing

  • Working with our CRM marketing manager, review and advise on email marketing strategies for clients and our strategic campaigns to achieve optimal engagement and conversions.

 

CRM

  • Become a key member of our Project team working on the ongoing development of our CRM system.

Essential & Desirable Criteria

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Proficiency in a range of digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Proven experience creating and managing strategic social media campaigns
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and successful campaigns
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • A client focused mindset

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Understanding of the legal industry
